We are located in the Historic small town of Kimbolton, a short walk from the Castle Gatehouse. The Castle, originally built in the 13th century, was later replaced by a Mansion House. The Castle was the prison of Henry VIII's first wife, Queen Katherine of Aragon. She was held in custody here for two years before her death in January 1536. The castle is set in stunning grounds and is the focal point of the village. It is now a private school and there are numerous dates throughout the year when it is open to the public. It is also the site for many Car and Antiques fairs, The famous Kimbolton Fireworks hold a display annually which is well worth a visit.
Kimbolton is a thriving small town where you will an ever evolving selection of quality shops. An award winning delicatessen, Gift shops, Pick a Lily Florist, Art and gift Gallery, Framing centre, Gentleman's outfitters and a lovely country bakery serving teas and coffees with a large selection of cakes, also a family run Butchers, to name a few.
